Rehabilitation Support Services is a private practice that has been in business for over 10 years; a practice providing direct and individualized support to maximize the overall quality of life and potential for adults with psychiatric disorders.
Abbey Friedman is a guide, counselor and dedicated advocate for all of her clients with an extensive resume supporting a long and successful career spanning over 40 years.
Atop graduating in 1976 with a Master's Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of South Florida, she has directed three large residential programs, servicing as many as 246 adults. Abbey has received certifications as a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner as well as a Rehabilitation Counselor. She has held a Board of Directors position on a national, state and local level and a Presidential position in The Florida Chapter for the United States Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association Certification Commission (USPRA). Additionally, she is currently the Training Coordinator assisting Behavioral Health Organizations in gaining National Accreditation.
